I am relatively new to the site, but have been lurking for a while. There is plenty of good info on here, and I appreciate the fountain of knowlegde here. I just hope someday I can contribute more.

I have heard one can add bone emulsion to plaster to make the crystalized plaster harder. What exactly is this stuff? I searched the archives but didn't run across anything on bone emulsion. My first suspicion is that this is perhaps a dilute solution of bone (hide) glue added to the water prior to slaking.

Thanks in advance.
