Amuzing..maybe..
Here are..by your definition... "Bullso's" (http://www.matia.com/monumental/spiritofthebullmon.html)
Kind of makes me uncomfortable..like the paintings of butchered beef (http://www.artsmia.org/uia-bin/uia_doc.cgi/list/173?uf=mia_collection.ldb&key=paintings&noframes=x&hr=null&nd=355) by Soutine.

I'm not sure you noticed or not but the bulls linked at my previous post have the lower part of their legs removed for artistic effect. Although the bulls body has powerful muscular landmarks--the discontinuation of the legs just seems to make the pieces look like mutilated animals to me...ergo the reference to Soutine...
Now...in reference to your "dogso"..maybe you were looking more for something like "dogs playing poker" on velvet as far as humor goes...

Oddist - Many thanks for this post. I had not seen Walter Matia's work, but I really like this grouping of three more-or-less legless, leaping bulls. I find the animals very energetic and the piece overall quite fine, at least in the frontal view that leads the website.
