The City of Myrtle Beach, on the South Carolina Coast is looking for someone to produce a dolphin themed sculpture to be the centerpiece of a one acre oceanfront park. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact me at mbranyon@cityofmyrtlebeach.com. Thanks.

Not interested in this myself, but I have to add that Myrtle Beach basically is home to the Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington estate and sculpture garden, which houses one of the world’s great collections of late Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century figurative sculpture. I visited about 15 years ago, and consider that trip one of the high points of my sculptural education.

The Huntington family was a major participant in building the first U. S. transcontinental railroad. Anna was a fine sculptor, in the classical tradition.
