View Full Version : Bronze Monument Installation
Hi guys,
I have finished a large project and would like to share with you some pictures of the final installation. please visit www.morgansculpt.ca and go to "the rower". I'm also thinking about printing off some posters for sale. I was also wondering what people thought about this if this was a good idea wether or not to commercialize picture posters and if anyone had any suggestions as to what would be a good way to approach this.

Congratulations on a very successful project. This is a wonderful piece of work, your rower is very expressive and beautifully modelled, the action is caught in such a way that we can feel his effort, well done. I liked the way you left the piece on ground level it seems more accessible like that, the viewer can really participate with the work. I also think that the abstract boat is very imaginative and adds balance to the design. The photos are great, you pulled in quite a crowd, TV coverage and everything.
I think that a poster would be a good way to allow a larger number of people to have a sort of replica of this piece although I can't comment on the economic aspect of producing a poster.
Overall a fantastic sculpture it looks great beside the bay and I expect that the patina will age beautifully there. Keep up the good work.

Jamo - This is an absolutely beautiful piece, and the location is fabulous! You are off to a really exceptional start, so Congratulations!
On a poster, I also have nothing to add, except that the best galleries here often have done “issues” of paintings as posters, and those sell well. They, of course, serve as advertizing for both artist and gallery, as well as bring in some money.
Thanks guys that means alot coming from colleagues in the field of sculpture
rather than familly or friends. If I can make an impression on fellow sculptors
I must be doing something right.
