Getting started

Hi, i'm a digital artist, and now i wanna start to model some traditional maquette...but obviously i don't know how to start....materials, tecniques, i don't know anything...
Is there some website, or someone that can explain me how to start, maybe keeping in mind a low budget for the materials...

Welcome, motenai! You mention modeling traditional maquettes, so I'm guessing you are interested in the human or animal figure. Those are the most common subjects modelled, but clearly not the only ones. Lots of discussion has occurred on these topics in the Figurative part of this website, so check and see if anything there is of help.
