Karen Kang invites you to the opening of ‘Tunnels & Bridges’ on November 3, 2005, Thursday from 6-8pm.
Place: Ceres Gallery, 547 West 27th Street, Suite 201, New York, NY 10001
Exhibition Dates: November 1 to November 26, 2005
Gallery Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 12–6PM
Tunnels and Bridges seeks to connect people and ideas, and the fifteen artists included in this exhibition, representing different cultural backgrounds, find common ground by focusing on the self in relation to the other—a notion that we become more interesting if we exist among something else. These artists traverse issues concerning their identity and try to bridge the gap toward a better understanding of the world around them.
The basalt sculpture attached is titled 'Her Scars'.
