Hello everyone and thanks for the opportunity to be part of this vaste feild of artists even if only by this link.
I am very new to this way of communication and interaction, which makes me feeling a little uncomfortable to address people I can't see. Speaking of "conservative mind"!...but this is far better than isolation.
I don't really know yet how can I be of help as a moderator but I am willing to learn.
Maybe it will do good to introduce my work briefly.
My work is based on Geometry and remains in that feild for all which it stands or represents. I use alternatively 2d or 3D to visualize my subject, which often leads to a variety of configurations of the same composition. I am actually still working in the same topic for 8 years and I believe there is more to be uncovered beyond the basics of technicalities. Due to the nature of my work, I use paper or corrugated board which helps me in my studying a composition. I attempted using wood, metal or cement and was facing major technical problems which have to be answered yet. For now I am still in the analytical stage.
I am also learning how to prepare visual material for a website; another important step for my work!
This is all for the moment. Thanks for your attention.
Sidney Miraz.

Sindey,

Your work sounds great--similar to my own focus as well....

What programs have you dabbled in for web-presentation of your work? I find that some of the timeline-based programs such as Flash and Director are great.

Welcome to the board!:)

Hi Sidney. :)
If you hit any problems with your website, or other technical things, feel free to post in the Community Help Center (http://sculpture.net/community/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=9) . Chances are someone will have a good answer or a way to find one.

I'm looking forward to seeing your work.

Robert
