dear members

I wounder why my bronze sculptures are turning white after a while, its just on the surface so I can rubb it off with a dry clouth easy.

Its a smal foundry that do the job, for a very good price, and they say it's normal. Im not sure if I belive it is.

Are they doing something wrong or is that something exept (wax) you can put on the sculpture to evoyed this problem.

I wonder if this is the white powdery film I have seen, as I remember with the patina formula I used, the instructions said to NEUTRALIZE the acids with something like baking powder/water solution much like you use to do this on your car battery terminals and battery when the acid spills a little.
If that isn't done a whitish "salt" seems to exude for a little while sometimes.
