Does anybody have any suggestions for choosing a high quality but affordable pump to use in an outdoor public art fountain/sculpture project? I would appreciate the input, as I am working on a commission, and need some information and guidance.
Thanks,
Brian.

Hi Clifton,

I put in a 5' waterfall with a 50' stream and then a pond at the end. All the water cycles with my Aquascapes 3000 pond pump. It runs year round and circulates the water and helps to make a natural ecosystem for the koi.

So you could check out aquascapes.com and see what they recommend for your project. They have all different sizes. Their pumps are top quality and they often do the mega huge fountains for big motels or casinos etc. They know pumps that's for sure...

Good luck on your project and as always... can you give us a peek?

Hi

I,ve installed countless fountains around the would including the 911 memorial and the WWII memorial fountain and many others. I have a pump caculator on my website to use and if you need any help please feel free to contact me. There many factors to consider when building a fountain and alot of things can go wrong from inexperienced people trying to make a fountain. I have had thousands of calls about a fountain that was not installed to end user spec and it can get tricky.
