Question on entry level bronze foundry salaries

I have just recently interviewed for a wax or mold artisan position at a bronze foundry in Tempe, AZ. The owner wants to know what I'm asking for a starting salary. I have only taken a basic course in foundry techniques, but have years of basic moldmaking experience, connected to my mask making. I am a decent sculptor.
So my question is how much does entry level artisan ask for?

The job is four, ten hour days a week.

Might be helpful to think about what you need for the week or month and divide that. I think the foundry workers around Memphis start at 12-15 an hr. and I think that would be the bottom, wages are low here.
