Hi all,
Last week I drove to Cincinnati and was very impressed by the energy and level of planing going on there. I'm starting a new thread about it at here on Sculpture Community and we will arrange a meeting place at the conference for folks that attend and are interested in meeting and networking.
For some of you it may be too far to travel, so I'll also try and post information to Sculpture Community during the conference. But I encourage you to come to the conference. As you look through the conference schedule below, you'll see that it is a very full agenda with sessions that are vital to anyone in the sculpture world. You'll have fun, learn, make new friends, and experience a great city all at the same time.
In addition to the official schedule, Cincinnati-based sculptors are organizing the exciting Studio B Sculpture show that will feature work by 55 sculptors in a 17,000 square foot warehouse space next to the Carl Solway Gallery. I'll be posting more about this and other extracurricular events here on the Sculpture Community.
The conference will be well attended - the Cintas Center is large, but I hear some offerings and tours have nearly filled up - so you should register soon as space is limited. Registration is also very full for the student scholarships but please check with ISC at sculpture.org if you are a student and want to come on scholarship.
I hope to see you there!
Russ RuBert
