I am placing a marble and corten sculpture in a garden. The marble, which I bought in Italy. is called "Afion". I was told by the studio where I worked (Palla studio in Pietrasanta) that it was from Greece.After working with it little orangish flecks appeared, which looked supiciously like iron oxide. The studio person told me it was normal, and that it was not oxide. To be safe, I'd like to seal this before putting this outdoors.It has a hone finish. what is the best sealer, that is least noticeable? I am thinking of a silicon liquid (Akemi) followed by wax. Any suggestions?
