Seeing as how the ISC onference will be starting this week I was wondering who if any of you will be attending. I will be arriving wednesday the 21st and thought it would be nice to be able to put a face with a post. Looking forward to hearing and seeing some of you.

Won't be... doohhh :(
Will anybody record as MP3 or shoot with video? That would be great sharing with those abroad!
Best
Philippe.

I'm much too far away to attend, more than 24-hour flight away.
I agree with Philpraxis that it would be good if recordings of the event can be made for us to view and share afterwards.
Or else, wonder if anyone attending has a blog talking about the conference and showing photos ?

Ah yes, there are blogs talking about this ISC Sculpture Conference. Here is one (http://www.pamdora.com/2006/06/urban-camping.html) by PaMdora, with mentions of Russ and a photo of him working on his series of Positronic Neon sculptures. :)

Here's a new blog (http://www.pamdora.com/2006/06/urban-camping-deluxe.html) by PaMdora, still on pre-conference activities, with another photo of Russ, and how his neon artwork is put into practical use. From reading this blog, you can perhaps guess who she is.

There is actually another bogger who reports regularly on this International Sculpture Conference at Cincinnati, as well as some pheripheral art shows and activities. She is Sara Pearce, and her art blogs are here (http://frontier.cincinnati.com/blogs/art/). She seems to be a local at Cincinnati.
And instead of showing individual blogs of PaMdora, this general link (http://www.pamdora.com/) should show all her recent blogs, including new ones.

Oh! Another blogger writing about this International Sculpture Conference is none other than our Russ RuBert. He does not write as frequent as PaMdora (sometimes she post them there on his behalf). But he has just posted quite a few photos of the sculptures, including his own of course, on display there, at what is called 'Studio B Sculpture Invitational'.
His blog, called 'RuBert Studios', can be found here (http://rubertstudios.com/). His pictures there are interesting. But somehow there are not many posted comments to his blogs.
By the way, for those who are new to reading blogs (or weblogs), you can post your comments, and can come back to view them from time to time, to see the updates.

I was hoping that someone who had attended the conference could tell us a little about it.
Any comments for those of us who were unable to get there?
