KAL, the prolific political cartoonist for many U.S. newspapers via syndication and also "The Economist," has an exhibit featuring the history of political cartoon art - including sculpture - at the Walters Museum of Art in Baltimore running thru September.

See http://www.thewalters.org/html/exhibit_current_detail_simp.asp?ID=143 for details.

The show features a sculpture of our leader "Dubya" that Direct Dimensions (www.directdimensions.com) laser scanned for creation of a fantastic interactive animated political cartoon. The 3D digital model was tied to joysticks and foot pedals to provide real-time motion control including full facial movement, wiggling ears and shoulders, and practically full vocal expression.

If in or around Baltimore, I highly recommend this stop on your tour!
