I am looking to clear out some room in the studio for other work and need to slim down my limestone stock. I want to sell two sizes of vareigated Indiana limestone. Sizes 2' x 2' x3' three each and 18" x 24" x 72" three each. All are square cut with parallel sides. Any suggestions? Any bulletin boards or magazines that would be possible candidates for an advertisement?
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
Carl

Carl, Where are you located?, How much a cube for the stone? When you say varigated, is the stone a mix of gray and buff or what? How does it compare to standard buff as far as carving?

Sorry, just noticed that you are in west virginia--a bit far from Texas.

John,
Slight Correction on stone. All stone is still variegated. Variegated being a light gray and a dark gray. Most of the stone is predominately light gray with the dark gray running the long length. All stone has sawn edges. Blocks were cut to be as perfect a rectangles and squares as possible. No problem standing them up on any side. I did not want to have to square the bottom when I could get them squared up from the quarry.
I have:
2 pieces that are 2'x 2' x 3' for $550 each
1 piece that is 2' x 2' x 2' for $335
3 pieces that are 18" x 24" x 72" for $760 each.

Carl, not a bad price for s6s material. Too bad that for me to drive to west Virginia, I'd be going right by the Indiana quarries. I'm sure there is someone up in that part of the world that can use the stuff.
