Hello All,
It's been a long time since I've been able to log on,( 12/1/05)and I have to admit I mised you guys:) well alot has gone on since then. I had My second Sculpture bronzed and I'm trying to get my 3rd ready for the foundry. I'm trying to get all of my AP's done so I can have a showing. It's been so hard staying motivated the last 8 months. Being the soul caregiver for both parents which is non stop 24hr days, It can drain you.

I'm sad to say I lost my Father July 6th two days after his 93rd birthday. Still trying to rebound.

I'm moving to Nashville soon (nov) anyone know of any good foundries there? I'm also interested in taking some classes.

Welcome back Ameenah. Nice to hear from you again. Sorry to hear about your problems and the demise of your father. Do show us your new works when you can. And when you need to talk, 'listening ears' are all around here anytime of the day or night.

About foundries in Nashville, is this list of US foundries (http://www.artcastingjournal.com/foundries.htm) useful ? There are two in TN.

Thanks Merlion, I'm In TN for two weeks so I'm going to check out the "Stone River Art Foundry" I think it's pretty close.

Nep75, your site didn't come up. but thanks just the same. what part a AZ are you from? I used to live in North Scottsdale (accuse me Snottsdale :D), two years ago.

Hi Ameenah
We have missed you.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father.
I hope that you will not forget your friends here or your sculpture. There is a little magic in art and I hope that it can help to keep you motivated as well as creative. Looking forward to see new work.
All the best
Blake

Ameenah - I'm in Tempe, AZ, know exactly what you mean about Scottsdale. It's the weirdest thing, it's raining right now, in the morning.... lol I probably typed it wrong. Try this one. If it doesn't work then I don't know what I'm doing wrong. :)

Did you ever buy supplies from Ball Consulting?

Hello Blake,
Thanks for the kind words. I missed you guys also. I'm doing better. I'm in the process of moving, so everything is a bit crazy now. I'm trying to get a sculpture ready for the foundry before I leave Georgia.

Nep, you know what I mean about scottsdale lol. Tempe huh?... I hung out at my friends art store, Wet Paint. I used to show my paintings there I also showed at The Mills End Cafe. Yes I did buy my clay from Balls consulting. They had just moved into a bigger place the last time I was there. Do you go to First Fridays in Phoenix? If not have you have to, and have dinner at Fate? It's owned by my good friend Johnny Chu. Very good food! Tell him I sent you. ;)
