I need a recommendation for a good art projector. There are a few different projectors on the market, and I have no experience with them, so I don't know which to choose.

I'll be projecting drawings from 9X12 paper to both walls and to some horizontal surfaces (enlarging or reducing). I realize this isn't entirely related to sculpture, but am hoping someone has some experience they can share.

Thank you!

I used to teach and have used a variety of projectors. I think the best bet for you is to get or borrow an Overhead Projector (OHP) and make transparences from your 9 x 12 drawing.

If you are not familiar with these, the OHP that projects from a transparency film is cheap. A drawing or document on normal 'letter' or 'A4' size paper can be converted into such a transparencies film with a photocopying machine using special films for this purpose. Do not use the write-on film which cannot take the heat in photocopying machines and will melt and make a mess.

Perhaps if there are photocopying service shops nearby, they'll do this for you.

There are projectors that project from documents on paper. Such projector machines are not cheap.

Not sure if these suit your purpose.
