I've mentioned this in a reply to another thread, but thought it would be appropriate to mention it here in some more detail.

I have a website that I think will be useful to sculptors. www.magicsculpture.com is an anatomy and pose library of models that can be turned, zoomed into (upto 800%) viewed from all sides and the selected views can then be printed.

One can print these views to match the finished size of the sculpture. It then becomes easy to sculpt directly using the prints as reference. One knows exactly how much clay to put on the body and can follow the contours easily.

The website is currently offering free membership with full access to 5 demo models. These models can be turned about and interacted with fully to help you test drive the system.

The current pose library contains male, female, child, transparent skin, couples, ethnicity and expression modules. The site is updated with new poses and body types every few days and in time I hope to add a section on horses and mythical beasts.

Some quick links to give you a better idea of how the system works are:

http://www.magicsculpture.com/ the main website
http://www.magicsculpture.com/MagicSculptureIntro.html a small flash presentation on how the system works
http://www.magicsculpture.com/library.php the pose library featuring over 600 poses
http://www.magicsculpture.com/tutorials.html the tutorial section
http://www.magicsculpture.com/board/ the message board which has a troubleshooting section to walk you through any start up difficulties you might encounter.

Thanks for reading this and I hope others find this tool beneficial.

Ester - We have a policy against posing advertisements, which unfortunately is rather vague, though the various moderators and the site owner and manager, Russ RuBert, have had periodic PM discussions about being more explicit. I realize that Obseq, one of our moderators, just suggested you post information on this model library of yours, so it's OK for now. However, several similar references have been removed because of this non-advertising policy, and it is possible that yours willl be also.
