Can i download a photo?

:confused: Am wanting to download a photo or 2 and not sure how to go about it on this site.Wanted to put a couple in the photo gallery

Hi manjul,
am wondering if it is because we are level 1 users? Not really sure how you go about getting to a higher lever.It is no doubt explained somewhere on this site

Hi Shazza,

I only know how to download a photo as an attachment to a post. Is that what you are talking about? I think the photo gallery is only for ISC members. Not quite sure. The level numbers is only to do with how many post you have posted.

I believe you can upload photos at any level. I don't know the procedure, but I think it was Mountainsong who explained the process several weeks ago in response to the same question from Mark Pilato. Check back through Mountainsong's posts and I'm sure you'll locate it. Good luck, Loys

Two ways to do it. Scroll below the box where you type your reply where it says "additional options". Clic on "manage attatchments". Second way is to put a link to like "photobucket". Check the thread on "what do ya look like" where I had the same question. I stand to be corrected but at least you should be able to get something up. It will speed up your promotion to "higher levels"(LOL). The FAQ's could used a little improvement in this area.

Must admit,it did sound a tad funny,my 'Higher Level' remark :)
Have since attempted adding a photo but it was too big! Now i have to investigate how to make it smaller! Can anyone tell i am computer illiterate?

Most new members are understandably interested in attaching photos to their posting. But there seems to be no special location in this Forum that answers the question how to do this. Thus the question has been asked from time to time in the past.

I notice the replies to this thread (http://www.sculpture.net/community/showthread.php?t=1747) last year seem to provide good instructions. (Click on the word 'thread' as it is a link). Hope you can follow them and get your photos posted.
