Hi. I'm Georges (the 's' is silent). You may have noticed me weighing in - here and there - with wordy opinions.
I am not a sculptor - per se. I have a degree in 3D animation, apprenticed as a goldsmith and, again, as a fine art metalsmith. I have made and sold thousands of one-of-a-kind three dimensional objects. I'd call myself an artisan - now a digital artisan. I am, currently, Web Administrator of Sculpture.org.
I have lived in places as diverse as Newfoundland, Vancouver, BC, Peoria, IL, Ames, IA, Brussels, Geneva, Seattle and, now, Rocky Hill, NJ.
I was 7-9 in Brussels. We went on "cultural road-trips" almost every weekend - weather permitting. That explains my interest in sculpture.
If you are an ISC member and a sculptor please be sure to take advantage of your member benefits and submit materials to be posted in our "Portfolio (http://www.sculpture.org/redesign/port.htm) " section.
Special thanks to Russ RuBert for this wonderful addition to ISC's online experience.
