April 13, 2007 - The National Art Gallery is set to open Australia's only major public exhibition space dedicated entirely to sculpture, ending 17 years without such a designated space.
The National Australia Bank Sculpture Gallery, due to open next month, will become home for iconic works such as Constantin Brancusi's Birds in Space and Donald Judd's Untitled 1974, as well as pieces that have not been seen since the gallery's original sculpture space was abandoned in 1990. ....
