Scanning the card is a good way to show who's included. Many thanks. What are you showing?

I'm showing an indoor wall piece, Daedalus, 2005. h7' x w3.5' x d1.5'
I might have posted an image of it on the forum before. It looks like it's going to be a good show, I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.

Very nice, as always. With the name Daedalus, is that a symbolic shoulderblade and wing? Or is the title part of a continuing group? I haven't looked back at your work for a bit, so I apologize if this is something I should know. Seems to me you used that general theme earlier also.

Very often, metal works is kind of stereotypical, like if a person said "lets weld things together and see what it gives". The final result is usually an object where you can see where each piece comes from.
This does not seem to be the case in your work. The first word that comes to my mind is "articulate" in your case. Still, you produce an artifact, no question here. There's an existence. But also there's something else in the air around that gives more to the work more than only the piece in itself, there's a question.
Simply said, I like VERY MUCH your work.
Best regards,
Philippe.

Fritchie - yeah, that's a shoulder blade form for the "wing." The title came afterwards though, to go with a grouping of three pieces in that scale, so nothing was meant too literally.
Philippe - thank you very much for the kind comments. To me, steel is like water; it can take any shape you can finesse it into.

Sam,
Congratulations on the show!
Daedelus is one of my favorite pieces from all that you've shared with us.
I did not realize that it was a wall-piece-- The image you posted in the gallery was against a white-background.
I hope you can share more pics with us!
