I'm living in Asolo, Italy (north Italy, one hour north of Venice, very close to Passagno where Canova worked) and am looking for a local stone sculptor to intern with, or a local school where I could take classes. Does anyone have any contacts in this region? I can travel as far as Venice, Vicenza, and Padua, but can't get down to Florence regularly.
Any and all help would be much appreciated!

Contact Boutros Romhein at the Arco Arte studio, in Carrara (info@arcoarte.it) - he knows people at Padia and may be able to advise for options elsewhere. Knowledgeable guy.
