Hey I've been hanging around for months now, and have submitted a few things, and shot my mouth off some. I've seen my designation go up from a "level 1 User" to "level 2...3....4...5...", and now "level 6". What does this mean? Am I getting better or worse? Is it a measurement of how much drivel I've contributed? If it gets to 10 do I get jail time? Please explain. Thanks. Joe

I'm glad you asked because I've been wondering the same thing. I sure hope the "prize" isn't jail time! I'm thinking it's only related to the number of postings. I logged on for the first time maybe a week ago and I'm at level 2, so I guess it has something to do with how many opinions I've shared. In daily conversation when someone says something i like I usually "say that's ten points for you!" Every now and then someone wants to know what he'll get for the points he's accumulated so far. The ways we get ourselves in trouble...

I wish someone would tell me also. I've been confused by mine for some time now :D

Nah, seriously, it is just the number of posts you've made.

as I said in another thread

man, I really hate this.
It's too bad that the levels have anything to do with post count.

you could post 34 times a day and be a level 12 right off. It gives the false impression of knowledge and authority, when that is not the case.

I am really upset to find that it has nothing to do with experience , exibitions held, or anything of that nature.

Oh well, that is the nature of a WWW forum!!
