I had a look at the site and I think you should take advantage of all the 'emerging' artist opportunities while you can - your work is likely to push you out of that category soon.

Great stuff, I enjoyed seeing it.

weezer, Bill - Hi! and Welcome! It's not often I get to talk to a fellow Louisiana artist. We may know some people in common, though my LSU connections go back a way. Bill Ludwig, who is a Newcomb College, Tulane U., MFA, has cast almost all of my work at his foundry near Hammond, La. His main assistant over most of this time has been Mike Avant, an LSU grad, and my teaching instructor at New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts was Kinsey Granham, also an LSU MFA.

Your web site is great! and it displays an abundance and fine variety of work. I have to say, I am not fond of the rope-entwined pieces that one sees often over recent years, but overall, congratulations! and welcome to this site.

On a slightly different note, ISC is looking into a Local Conference in New Orleans this fall. I may be jumping the gun in mentioning this, but if it happens, LSU likely will be a participant. Check into this and be ready if it happens. I look forward to hearing more from you.

Bill,

Welcome and thanks for the link to your work!

I am immediately drawn to the differences in vertical and horizontal orientation between some of your pieces--The texture, depth, and vareity of the materials is impressive. Great work.

Look forward to your future contributions on the board!

Wow, I loved your website and work. It is different and strikes out in a different area I have not seen a lot of. I work in wood and metal combined like you, but have little credentials and feel a little odd responding. I am sitting here in a high rise in downtown Los Angeles and am taking a break from my full time Insurance Job to masage my other part of my brain. My website is www.brucknerart.com.

I loved the different parts of your website and got a lot out of it. Your art is FANTASTIC.

Thanks for the nice comments. I took a look at your site. I especially like the outdoor view of 13 Pieces...Have you seen Tom Doyles work? I think you can find some images on the web...

Good luck with your work.
