Hey folks! Its that time of year again, Tri-State Sculpture Conference is coming up on October 10,11, and 12. This year it will be held at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in Johnson City TN. The Keynote Speaker is Steve Tobin. This is a great opportunity for those of us in the South East to network and attend lectures/demos that could not afford to go to the ISC Conference. For more information go to:

Hope to see you there!

Tobin will blow you away, one of my heros...I met him in Houston some years back...my brother even made some music with him (think he gave that up). Now I really wish I wasn't anchored to the bone-yard. Have a "pertinent" time (and a 40 for ol Evaldart).

I wish I could get back down that way for the tri state conference but if anyone is in the midwest, this is one that you might be interested in, I am going, and I have made it a requirement of the course for my sculpture students, so the 13 of us will be making the short 5.5 hour trip to attend. Looks like it will be a good time and we might actually take something away with us.

yeah, Steve Tobin is one of my favorites. Last year's keynote was Bruce Beasley . That was amazing. He's a really nice guy and a huge inspiration.
