Hi,

I'm just starting to explore the sculpting of small figurines, more specifically to sculpt comic book characters and whatnot. I'm wondering if anyone had suggestions on what materials to use. I need something that won't dry out (as it will probably take me several days to complete these things) but is sturdy enough to hold its form without the use of an armature. Lastly, it would be awesome if it could also be set to harden once I'm done.

Someone suggested Sculpy.

Thanks

hi

Try Plasticine. i have a friend that does the same thing (action figures). it comes in 3 hardnesses. And you can soften it by warming it. It gets harder as it it gets colder. You can also make a mold from it.
