Hey all, Ill be here (http://www.pavelzoubok.com/node/david-poppie-sound-bites) thursday evening in support of my good friend's NY debut. Hope to run into some of you city folk if you're out hopping the openings.

Wiil be on my way to block island for a day and 1 instal. Sorry to miss it. Looks like my scottish highlander got into the BWAC show at empire fulton park so maybe see you there. Later E (Sub)

Good job Eric, Yeah I hope to see you there too. But there might be trouble because I have committed the sculpture I proposed this year to another (paying) venue. Maybe they'll they will accept another. Congrats.

Mr. Poppies work is quite something. Pencils and matchsticks..trés cool.
A shame I can´t saunter by.

Yeah he kind of "sculpts" his flatties. The opening was a success, we drank cheap wine, some pieces sold and alls well.

Donna, check bwac.org I'm not sure I'll be there this year. But it sounds like Suburbanartist will be. Its one of my favorite venues and the SCULPTORS who run it are great to work with.

I think BWAC show at Empire Fulton park starts sometime in late June. They seem to keep the hard date loose? Can't wait to plant my wood and steel cow in NYC. Always loved that under the bridges location.

I'm not going to be in the BWAC show this year but we just met the curators Richard Brachman and Ursula Clark last weekend at Sculpture Now in Stockbridge where Richard had a piece. Urusla is showing at Chesterwood this summer in the Contemporary Sculpture show and the opening is July 3rd. Thanks for the heads up on the Block Island show. I do mostly indoor gallery shows but my friend Andy Moerlein is doing alot of outdoor shows this summer- for more information visit www.andymoerlein.blogspot.com.
