just found this forum....great magazine...great website...


im in the process of applying to schools for my mfa.

i am primarily interested in installation art and have integrated sculpture into my work within the last 2 years.

i have a background in astrophysics from my undergraduate education and switched to film and digital media production about halfway in (go figure)...;)

Welcome aboard. Where are you applying to school? I chose to forgo that route, but it has strong merits.

Any web documentation of your work available? How about upcoming exhibitions/projects?

i appreciate the welcome. for now, i am looking at some schools in san francisco; mainly san francisco art institute and CCAC.

i dont have any web documentation of my work yet but i will certainly do so in the future.

i am working on an interactive installation at the moment and am using this piece for the basis of my portfolio for grad school applications. i'm in the process of moving from the digitized models of my installation to actually creating the casts for the large pieces in the next week or so. i'll try to post some pics once i have a chance and so i can get some feedback from you all.
