New to Sculpture

I am new to the sculpture world and wanting to inquire information. Who are the 'hot' sculptors now? I know this question might sound silly, please be patient with me

Specifically in what? Most influential? Most popular? Most sales?

skalisz,that is kind of like asking who makes the best jeans,Levis,Lee's,or Wranglers.You would have to break it down to Glass,metal,stone,and wood,ect.Also, do you want young and hot or older and hot like Chuily and paley?You have to also figure ther will be a huge difference in peoples opnion,but as far as art dealers are concerned your hot when you sell on a consistant basis to good clients/collectors.Maybe one of the smarter artist here can break it down better then me.As far as horse sculptures go Debra Butterfield is steeming hot,William Morris is hot in Glass,and Paley is the man with hot metal.John Henry aint doing so bad in welded steel either.Check out Leo Kaplin's web site,probally has some of the hoter artist around...............................IAxM3= Eric
