Constantin Brancusi's "Bird in Space" (http://www.sculpture.net/community/showthread.php?t=1531) shattered the record for a sculpture at auction when it soared to an astonishing $27,450,000 at Christie's sale of Impressionist and modern art.

Hi, I sold a piece for more than that yesterday, or was that $274.50?
Who cares?
Have a nice day,

Yeah, Jeff, but the best thing is, you get to spend your money and Brancusi is dead. ;)

The spirit of Constantine (http://www.asds.org/AH2002/bill/MyPage.htm) Brancusi (http://www.dntis.ro/romania/mr/romanian_images/sculptors/brancusi/) lives on in his beautiful sculptures.
I didn't know he was sick.

Yep, and the income from his beautiful sculptures lives on in the wallets of art collectors, galleries and museums. But then, if it didn't, most people would be saying "Constantine Bran..who's he?" Come to think of it, most people probably are.
