Cabosil & Silicone

I was wondering if you guys would recommend using cabosil to thicken silicone or should I buy thivex from smooth on? draw backs recommendations?suggestions? where would a good source of cabosil in canada be?

well, thixo is better, but cabolsil also fine, aslong as you are not makeing a production mold to get lots and lots of copies. anytime you mess with a chemicals structure it can change the properties.

either will weaken and make the silicone a bit stiff, but i think you will be fine with cabosil.
