When cutting stainless steel with a plasma tourch will the cut be cleaner using a gas rather than shop air ?
Any tips would be helpful to reduce clean up time.

Thanks

I just shop air...and then follow it up with a flap disc on a grinder and knock off the dross and discoloring....

what thickness ?

most of the time 12g...10g. I use about the same follow up as you, just wanted to see if anyone had a better way.

Thanks

you could always go with a beverly shear™ the b3 model will run you about $1000.00 or go with a nice stand off for your plasma torch

Yes, by using nitrogen or a combination of oxygen and nitrogen, you would get a cleaner kerf(cut area). I'm not sure if it's that big a difference to go get bottles. If you can set it up cheap, give it a try.
