Greetings all. I just returned home from 10 days in Vancouver, what a beautiful city. I think God was showing off when he made B.C. It was great to see old friends and art walk a different town. I saw a great Picasso exibit among other things. I bought an 800 pound block of white marble (Colorado yule). Any stone carvers on this forum should look at the website of Neolithic Stone. Randy is a helluva nice guy who happens to have by far the best selection, and the best prices, of carvable stone I have ever encountered.

I too have nothing but praise for Neolithic Stone.... I ordered a small pallet just before Christmas, needing some new stone for an Exhibition that opened January 20th. The stone arrived in good time and the quality was grade A primo. EXCELLENT STONE. :)

Greetings,

I'm glad to read only positive reviews of Randy and neolithic stone. When I was there a couple weeks ago, he actually picked me up and gave me a ride to the warehouse. It has a relatively low ceiling and is poorly lit, there are literally tens of thousands of tons of rock to look at, and I found myself overwhelmed by indecision. The reason he ships such great rock to carvers is that he is a stone carver himself, and looks at each stone with a carvers eye for fractures etc.
