eBay made alot of dreams come true!

My name is Johannes Im a 27 years old sculptor that mostly work in moddeling in wax (for later turn in to bronze) but I also have a passion for finding new medium and also new ways of presenting the art.

for more then one year ago I heard on the radio about a guy that sold a banana on ebay, I thought if you can sell a banana how hard can it be to sell art. You may not get a nice price, but you get the chance to send your work world wide.....not so bad

during the past year bouth art dealers and privat collectors have been bidding and buying my pieaces.
Mostly USA, but some in Europe aswell. all feedback 100% posetive.

Today I have my own studio, have two founderys that are working for me, I have gallerys in Sweden, Italy Danmark Usa Canada Spain....that are presenting some of my sculptures. And alot of it is thanks to eBay. Not just that I sold trough them but they linked me to these people.

Nice work, Johannes...your figures have a Giacometti-ish feel to them.

I have thought many times about using ebay to sell my work..the only thing is, I don't think the site is very user friendly. I have trouble finding the things I am looking for there. I guess the best thing about ebay, though, is that so many people use it.

Good on you for using it to your advantage and success. Maybe I should give it a go too.
