The Village of Palatine has commissioned a sculpture for it's Palatine Firefighters Memorial park. I am looking for a listing of potential grant/funding resources to assist in the funding of this public art project. Any assistance you can offer will be appreciated.

Captain Ohlrich:

The Illinois Arts Council may be able to help you. Their grants, however, must be received by March 15, 2004. The application is straightforward and you probably can get it in on time, even if it has to be hand-delivered (State of Illinois Building, Chicago, I believe). Access the IAC website via Google and download their grant application and instructions.
