DESCRIPTION Moore once commented that ‘drawing keeps one visually fit’. Not just a method for generating ideas for sculpture, it was a way of looking and understanding, a means of expanding his mental library of forms. The eighty drawings in this touring exhibition create a vivid picture of the variety of Moore’s techniques and ideas.

The Henry Moore Institute, Leeds
