Wax figures, what type of wax do I use?

Hello, I am looking for a type of wax that I can pour into molds that I have made of some smaller figures. I was making sculptures from Super Sculpey and the final product was always too fragile. I have seen artists that have made wax sculptures (kinda mme. tusseauds style). So i was just wondering what kind of wax is used for this technique? Bleaced beeswax or bleached microcristalline or other? Please offer brand names and sources if you can too please. I am in Pennsylvania. Do you add straight pigment to this wax or can you add oil paint? Here is my web address, www.jonarmistead.ca the figure on my home page is what i have done in sculpey, basically i want similar results but in a material that is more durrable. I have switched to sculpting these in clay and taking molds of them now. I have cast smooth on smoothcast resins that i have tinted or painted but am not entirely happy with the results. I am hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks.
