Hello Everyone
Hi to everyone here,
My name is Richard and I am happy to have found this community as I am new to all this and have lots to learn. I really enjoy seeing all of the different works here in a great variety of mediums. I have sculpted a bit on and off over the years. Last year I found myself back creating in clay and set up a home studio to pursue my growing interest. I have lived here in the US in New Jersey my whole life and enjoy sculpting all sorts of creative creatures. A couple of my most recent pieces (in the raw or bisque stage): Nightclimber Princess Pug Primate Skull Thanks to the community for sharing on this site, Richard |

Welcome, those are interesting, hope you enjoy the forum, and look forward to seeing more of your work.
Edit: I like the "princess pug",... from Garry

Re: Hello Everyone
Thanks, I just bisque fired the Pug and will be glazing her this week. I'll post a picture in the Gallery when done
![]() @scrapartoz - That skull would certainly appeal to those markets, I didn't have one in mind when I made it. I actually wanted to sculpt some skulls to work on getting better at facial structures. The first one I made was the human skull linked below, and right after that one I made the "primate" one.
