Dear friends.

My name is Bjorn Aadnoy and I live on the west coast of Sweden. I have been doing some drawing and painting during my earlier years but really never developed as an artist.

Some years ago I took up sea kayaking and found myself collecting lots of driftwood during my trips. With a background in electronics I started designing a wind monitor that is 90% art & sculpture and 10% technology. Woodwinds is a statement - a contrast to all the buttons and menues that are all over the thing we buy today. Woodwinds is an informative and ever changing sculpture made from wood, glass, brass and electronics.

The wind monitor connects via cable to a roof mounted rotating wind sensor that I have developed myself.
