Re: whats the one tool you love above all others?

I guess this path idea stems from when i used to find locations for movies. Some of the guys would spend all day on the phone and make appointments. I would just go out in the car with my camera and a map with some general ideas but would often just follow the scenery and let it lead me to a place i know none of the phone guys could ever find. Sometimes this worked, some times not. It was always a rush when i did find those truely new and fresh spots. The other guys did get many good locations too but they were rarely new and not used previously in other films.

And that was a super high pressure job so it was always a big risk doing it that way. But that was the only way to come up with something new.

So That's my favorite tool. The tool that can get me lost.

But you weren't lost at all, you're just good at finding things.

If I could only pick from one tool, it would make my work very difficult. The tool would loose it's appeal because tools are used in combination. However, if asked which set of tools I use most I would say my air tools in conjunction with the plasma cutter and mig welder. In this case the one tool I would pick would be my high speed air cutter.

hands with fingers, brain attached down the line. Everything else I can pretty much do without if I had to... no particular attachment.

My Fein Multi Master has become very close to my heart.
It has saved me weeks of wrist jarring work. And itīs a really cool orange colour.

Although all tools have their purpose, I have to say that my favorite is my TIG welder...I just find welding with the thing to be a great soothing catharsis.

uh-oh...we got a mind worshipper here. If you're eating good your hands will get enough nerve to smack-around that bulbous wallower. If you're not eating good you'll find yourself avoiding pain and accomplishment in favor of the intellectual massagings of culture...in which case, you're dismissed.

My imagination. Without it all the rest would be useless.

My computer attached to the internet!
Great for finding reference of everything.
Living creatures, skeletons, anatomy, you name it.
I have a few choice books but you can't beat a computer.
