Contemporary Sculpture at Rapid 2010

I attended and participated in a show of contemporary art in conjunction with the Rapid 2010 show in LA earlier this summer. Twenty sculptors using high-tech tools (many of them for the first time) showed the results in a venue generally devoted to the latest in 3d scanning and 3d printing technology. Read all about in my blog - or just look at the pictures...

Re: Contemporary Sculpture at Rapid 2010

I had a chance to check out some laser sintered crowns when I worked in the dental industry. I loved the texture of them I immedietly thought that it would be very cool to try this technology for sculpture.
The only problem is that I would have to learn how to use my computer. I have seem several examples of Gil Bruvels sintered work and I loved it. Or is his work printed?
