Sculpture Exhibit in Portsmouth
Installed Motion in the Portsmouth Outdoor Sculptue Exhibit. Came down to Portsmouth & was sunny. Snowed 2" overnight - so have snow bunny pictures of Motion. All 1100 lbs.

Re: Sculpture Exhibit in Portsmouth
Thank you Juliana. Was very happy that Motion could hold down the stairway so well for them.

Re: Sculpture Exhibit in Portsmouth
Congrats Ton, Tanother impressive piece of carving; we gotta keep getting that stuff out there.
Have you spoke to the folks in Baltimore about a de-install?. I've got a piece to retrieve and I've been having trouble contacting them. |

Re: Sculpture Exhibit in Portsmouth
Matt, Baltimore is a bit hard to get through to sometimes. Have had on & off problems there myself.
Here is a recent contact that might be able to help provided that your sculpture was placed through the city, which I assume it is. MARISOL LOPEZ Public Art Administrator Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts Phone: (443) 263-4338 Email: MLopez@promotionandarts.com also might try: kim domanski kdomanski@promotionandarts.com Am sorry to hear that Baltimore will lose one of your pieces. Baltimore will be the less for it. I have already de-installed my piece in Baltimore & am working hard to find a new home for it. Carl |

Re: Sculpture Exhibit in Portsmouth
For rika. Best I could do. Photoshop & I are quarreling right now. Am thinking I will discuss this with my computer with threatening gestures and a heavy hammer.
Glenn, I can make a special roadtrip right to your door. Rumor is out that Spring is coming to the Mid-USA. ![]() Last edited by tonofelephant : 04-02-2011 at 07:00 PM. |

Re: Sculpture Exhibit in Portsmouth
Nice piece of carving tonofelephant
Any detail photos. Let me know who wins the argument with that hammer, you or your x-computer. At 1000 lbs do you install that with a fork lift? What is the base made of? I have a crane that is used for taking car engines out of cars with, and I use that for some of my marbles is that what your using? In an case a very nice piece of carving and it looks like a good location with or without snow. Blake

Re: Sculpture Exhibit in Portsmouth
Carl, Photobucket is great for larger images. You just cut and paste the image html code here. You also have a number of edit options that come handy.
