Sculpture Exhibit in Portsmouth

Installed Motion in the Portsmouth Outdoor Sculptue Exhibit. Came down to Portsmouth & was sunny. Snowed 2" overnight - so have snow bunny pictures of Motion. All 1100 lbs.

Have you spoke to the folks in Baltimore about a de-install?. I've got a piece to retrieve and I've been having trouble contacting them.

Matt, Baltimore is a bit hard to get through to sometimes. Have had on & off problems there myself.

Here is a recent contact that might be able to help provided that your sculpture was placed through the city, which I assume it is.

Am sorry to hear that Baltimore will lose one of your pieces. Baltimore will be the less for it. I have already de-installed my piece in Baltimore & am working hard to find a new home for it.

I have a crane that is used for taking car engines out of cars with, and I use that for some of my marbles is that what your using?

In an case a very nice piece of carving and it looks like a good location with or without snow.

As usual the computer does not take to idle threats. It knows that it is essential to my making a living. It also knows I will bow obsequiously before it & say "Yes Master".

The people at Portsmouth had a lovely forklift. Took 30 minutes to install including taking it off my pickup & deskidding it. The sculpture & pedestal are seperate pieces.

Limestone same as sculpture
I have a crane that is used for taking car engines out of cars with, and I use that for some of my marbles is that what your using? Yes I also use an engine hoist at home. Also have a hydraulic lift that can lift up to 750 lbs & move the stone around. The lift looks like a very beefy appliance mover with a deck that rises. Made by WESCO. The hydraulic lift is great since it takes less room to maneuver it around than the engine hoist.

Will post new detail photos when they pop out out of the maw of the computer.

Carl, Photobucket is great for larger images. You just cut and paste the image html code here. You also have a number of edit options that come handy.
