Ball People Exhibit

Hi All,

It's been a while...but as you can see from the pics I've been busy. I had a small exhibit of sculpture and paintings back in June. Hope you like.

Thanks Dries and Mack. The exhibit was well attended and generally well received. I found it interesting that even the most innocent works (including paintings) were labeled as disturbing by some folks.

Re: Ball People Exhibit

Rika,
I'm not surprised that many had that reaction to your art...in a lot of the sculpture shows that I've entered around the country, it seems that the one that always win the prize is the 'puppy licking the child's face' type. (Hmm- maybe I should try making one of those...)

I like your art Rika...and if I had to give it a label it'd be something like "curious". I will say too that any artist putting their stuff out there, I imagine would have to have some purdy thick skinů congratulations Rika.

Macků.an artist I hadn't seen in a couple years, thats made his living making art for over the past 15 years stopped by the other day and showed me what he's been up to. I was blown away. this guy is painting bears, elk, ducks in flight. basic wild life stuff.....says it sells

Re: Ball People Exhibit

Good to hear from you, Duck. What have you been up to? Any new work to show? Your sculptures were always original and delightful, whether figurative or abstract.
