Moldmaking advice
Hello, I sculpt artcars. I sculpt the originals in either WED clay or Roma Plastilna. I then make molds and make castings in either latex rubber or polyurethane resin. I typically create simple shapes like a head or plaque-like deep relief pieces. Anyway, I have created a dragon quasi human hand and I don't know how to make a mold of it. You can see the sculpture on youtube at

Re: Moldmaking advice
Two piece mould. One part at the back and the other at the front. Use a fibre glass mother mould or you might be able to get away with plaster but it will be heavy.
If this is too complicated for you then cut off the fingers and make simple glove moulds of each one and a two part mould of the palm. |
