Kia Ora from New Zealand

Hi there, Trish here from sunny Northland. I enjoy this forum and as I have just posted some recent sculptural work on a blog, I invite you to check it out. It's pretty low tech, there is so much to learn.

Re: Kia Ora from New Zealand

Thanks for your comments, I've always been in awe of some of the work on here. Looking forward to developing my style. How does one commit to make more art? As a single mum I have to give plenty of time to my kids, how do you make the leap to be a fulltime artist?

Everyone's solution is different. One thing for you to remember - your kids will grow up. Just keep working meanwhile and more time will eventually present itself. I used to do some of my best work after everyone else was in bed and into the middle of the night. Being absorbed in creative work is rejuvenating, so it didin't seem tiring.
