Question Advice needed for a new business

Since I am totally new to this community I need some advice for my new
business. I am planning to produce scaled replicas of statues in a museum
to be sold in the museum shop. So, the quality and the material needs to be
as in this link:
All the advice about method, material, equipment, publication etc. would be so helpful.

Re: Advice needed for a new business

How many of each? How much will you make on each? Or if you would rather not answer that, then how much should each copy cost you? (Including the cost of making the mold + time ...)

The answer to this basic questions will determine how you make your sculpture, and what materials you can use.

A good starting point is to go to the Polytek website, or Smoothon and read all of their literature (at least a few days worth of reading).

The equation you have to figure out is something like this:

Cost of Sculpture = cost of materials (Including the cost of making the mold divided by the number of reproductions to be made) + cost of labor (How much will you pay yourself?) + other costs (Electric, insurance, shipping, rent, water, etc.).

You will probably start with a known cost of sculpture, and then you will have to work out the other parts. Then you can decide if this is a good business...

Re 1: It seems to me your post falls into the category of advertising by people who are not member-artists. I've recommended it be removed.
