You stone carvers, you´re all for it.
I don´t mind so much now that I paint my work, but before, when everything was oiled and buffed, it drove me nuts. If two or three hands carress polished wood every day, it gets rough and black very quickly. Buy the work, THEN touch it as much as you want.

I've got no problem with someone touching my sculpture...any media... Did have a small child walk up and lick one of my stone pieces during an outdoor art festival....thought that was a little over the top, but it wiped off....
