how to make a mold from....?

Hi, I have a fiberglass object I want to make a reinforced silicone mold from. So, anyone know where I can find instructions on how to cast a multi-part silicone mold that is reinforced for rigidity on the outside? It can't be a "glove" mold... it's too large and complex. Smooth-on has some information, but only for a "glove" mold for a knick-knack.
Thanks.

smoothon may have some free dvd's ther is a guy named mark alfrey who has a dvd on those types of molds, and then there is the mold makers and casters handbook from Thurston james. you can get free info also from places like poltek sometimes.

Polytek's catalog & Manual has lots of great info. Start by reading that. The techniques apply to any company's products.

Good luck.

Ari.
