Re: hi

Hi Leslie, welcome from the other side of the earth! Have a nice lurking tour on this site and feel free to post whenever you want.
Btw do you have pics of your work? Every one here I am sure, would appreciate to discover what you do if you have any! It makes the dialogue more clear and friendly.

Re: hi; images

Leslie - Let me add my welcome to Anne's, and also an invitation to post some of your images in the "posts" section.

As an ISC Board member, Russ understandably wants to promote ISC membership, so he limits posts in the “gallery” to ISC members, but he also realizes that the Community will draw people who don’t find immediate ISC membership in their interest, so image attachments always are welcome as part of the regular posts. Many people use this method to add images to their introductions, and I hope you will also. As you say, people on the “bottom” half of the world increasingly find and use this community.

Robert Hague, of course, represents Aus. very well as a moderator, and several others have been active, so you are in good company.

Re: hi; images

Hello Leslie,
Welcome. It will be interesting to see whether your bronzes are figurative or abstract. Fritchie's expertise is the human form and Anne does sleek abstractions.
So, lurk away, but also post. We're a nosey bunch and we like pictures!
JAZ

Re: hi

Your pieces have a wonderful expressiveness. They are playful without being sappy. Sort of wistful and each has a good interplay between solid forms and negative space. The surfaces are good too.
